Updates of the day

Today saw a whole host of new stuff appear on EDEB8.com, notably:

• HTML content enabled on debates, with a simple to use WYSIWYG editor that doesn't hang like DDO's one sometimes can do.


• Improvements to the display of the Forums, like putting the new post button at the top


• Bug fixes for slashes on some messages, teams and stuff


• A new quick search bar at the top as a shortcut to the Search page


• Various speed improvements


• Fixing the post without verifying bug, and a number of other small issues

Next steps are:

• Allow debates to be assigned to categories


• Allow debates to be favorited, and have email alerts for such debates when it's time to vote


• Allow saving the debate as a PDF after the debate is completed


• Save previous chats as messages


• Highlighting recent, unviewed threads in the forums


• Posting in the forums without replying


• Enable changing your username
