Unfortunately, edeb8 completely bugged out, and deleted my long and extensive argument, which only added to the fact that I was disgusted with the resolution I was given. Which completely destroyed my confidence in this tournament. I'll summarize what my arguments would of been though.
- The act of circumcision is medically dangerous to themselves and others
- There are more mainstream spiritual and metaphorical interpretations of circumcision
- Governments internationally serve for the welfare of the people and their safety
- And that's it, because the resolution sucked and so did my arguments!
Good luck Ajabi, and I'll be rooting for you in this tournament!

| Speak RoundThank you for you reply Wolff. I am, I must admit confused whether this is a debate, or not? So do I have to post my argument, or have you forfeited the tournament? In any case it seems you have so I thank you for your honest forfeiture and for rooting for me. I realize we could not decide on a motion, and that is plentiful saddening.
I think that I will also write a summary of my arguments, and a brief refutation of some of the points you provided:
- That the act of circumcision is medically beneficial, where one is more likely to get Sexually Transmitted Diseases if one is not circumcised, also there are other medical benefits.
- That there is a Freedom of Religion observed in the world where Jewish, Muslim, Christian, and Zoroastrian parents have a right to circumcise their child, especially considering since there is a medical reason behind it.
- There are numerous people who get circumcision when they are fully grown for private purposes, and since circumcision does not harm them they have a right to do as they wish to their bodies.
As for your arguments I believe I could have argued on statistics with the second point, and argue how circumcision is not necessarily harmful et cetera; working this to all your points.
I hope we get to debate again some time, Wolff.
Faithfully Yours,
Ajab

Haha oh well, only one round to go! Posted 2014-08-02 21:19:37
Oh lord if only I had read this first. Hai hai hai. Posted 2014-08-02 19:52:58
Fantastic rule explaining right there.Posted 2014-08-01 16:03:51
Ajabi - you are correct, He's forfeited this debate and you've won. There IS an option to automatically hand the win to one side if the other side forfeits. Unfortunately this wasn't turned on for this debate. It's all good though, we have a sneaky way to get around that. If BOTH sides forfeit a round, then the debate automatically concludes and goes to judging stage.
So, After this CX, both parties need to just not post an argument and this debate will time out. Posted 2014-08-01 13:15:43
No problem. Sorry for the rouge notification. Posted 2014-07-29 01:35:50
Oh okay, because I received a notification which asked me to post.
Thank you for the quick reply lars.Posted 2014-07-29 01:32:55
It's not your turn to post - your opponent managed to bug the site by mashing buttons when he accidentally submitted his argument. I've given him instructions to recover his argument but he's been offline so far.
He's also said that he'll probably quit anyway because he hates this topic so much.Posted 2014-07-29 00:59:36
If its my turn to post, I should not that I cannot see anything. All I see is that Wolff has to post....Posted 2014-07-29 00:56:47
