admin (CON)Thanks pro, welcome all. Such procedures are dangerous, but if perfected, a problem remains: this allows the exploitation of the vulnerable. By erasing memories we erase critical evidence of crimes and abuses. It also allows for easier indoctrination - for example, slaves may have their memories wiped if they thought of escaping. This is ethically terrible. We need to remember trauma even if its uncomfortable, for our future safety. To protect our society we need to protect our memories.

Its true it may be worse in terms of crimes, but should we consider the fact that the victim would want to forget that crime. This should only be in use of after the justification and only in the Choice of the victim.We will also set a record but confidential.Also IF we impose a regulation for those who can acquire it,we can regulate the usage of this device so that it might not be abuse

People engaged in activities like smuggling, violence and intimidation have every incentive to abuse this technology to hurt people. It gives them a competitive edge, makes them more successful, because it allows them to better manipulate others. This is more important than victims who want to forget crimes because more lives are saved that way.
