Reasoning: OK, so many might be opposed towards my vote, but I voted on the following reason:
If the affirmation is unable to start the debate, then the opponent has no reason to continue it. So, for that reason, the affirmative loses, although the negation forfeited as well, the affirmation always has to start the debate.

Yes, of course. We are living in a democratic world, where the people chooses their ruler and england is a democratic country. The major decisions are taken by the government ( which is elected) and the queen just live a luxurious life on the tax payers with no duties to the people
The world have evolved rapidly after the 19th century and more countries are being democratic now. Democracy have overthrown the aristocracies and monarchy in the 20th century and the irony is that a queen in a democratic country?????
