Debate Central's 12 Tips
Just sharing another set of advice. Here's a short version, read

- Use causal links
- No whining if you lose
- Obvious, natural responses are better than "debater" arguments
- Give judges a reason to "break the tie"
- Fake it until you make it
- Debate your way, not the "right" way
- Be not afraid to switch strategy mid-debate
- Predict the debate's course before it begins
- Tell believable narratives
- Be open to anything you find in research
- Winning isn't everything
- When in doubt, say the opposite of what your opponent(s) said
