Nope, I never collect details of users without their input except aggregate analytics (that I can't trace back to individual users) and stuff that I need should I have to ban people.
I didn't reupload it BTW. When I uploaded it I had the checkbox unselected (so only I could see it) then I changed the value of the checkbox without reuploading the image.

Hey, you're the one that asked for the feature!
I'm the main developer for the site. If you have any problems, ideas, questions or concerns please send me a message.
Let's revive the forums!
I've decided to finally compile that list of random topic suggestions, and hopefully a few can be implemented. There are multiple categories, and it took me a lot of work to create.
Politics
- Spain should abolish their monarchy
- Federal States are superior to Unitary States
- Countries have a moral duty to protect human rights in other countries
- The UN should form a one world government
- Affirmative Action is justified
- Anarchism can work
- Double Jeapordy should be applied to all civil law
- Voting Rights Should be Guaranteed for Fugitives
- The United States should recognize Spanish as an official language
- The UN should enforce a one language policy
Art
- Governments have a moral duty to preserve historical art
- There is no such thing as bad art
- Some Artwork should be censored
- Art Museums should be financed by the state
Economics
- Governments should control stock investments
- Central Banks should be abolished
- Anti-Trust laws need to be expanded on
- The Markets would be better off without tariffs
- The government should have complete control over trade firms
- Governments should pump money into banks during recession
Edeb8
- Edeb8 should implement more social features
- Edeb8 is the best debating site
- Edeb8 should refine its judging system
- Edeb8 should find an alternative to Forfeits
Education
- Higher Education should be universal
- Federal Countries should have common core
- The State should build and finance universities
- Education should be compulsory in the third world
- Religion should be taught in schools
- Primary Education should be entirely career based
- Special Education should not share the same facilities as Primary Education
- Homework should be abolished
- Busy Work in class should be frowned upon
- The state should finance alternative e-schools
- Homeschooling as a form of alternative education should be abolished
- Private Schools should be regulated by the state
Games
- PC gaming is superior
- Board Games will eventually die out
- Playstation is better than Xbox
- Educational Gaming should be supported
- The State should censor violent video games
- Hacking multiplayer games should be fine worthy
- Video Games are a legitimate form of art
Religion
- A divine god exists
- Pantheism is the most likely explanation of god
- Deism is the best explanation for divinity
- Religious Institutions should be taxed
That's all for now, I'll add some more later when I have some time.
As I've only ever done one online debate (and won, 100% success rate right here) I don't have much of a leg to stand on but I get really sick of the number of forfeited debates. I think it's pretty rude to waste people's time like that when it's done on a continual basis and I don't think it goes with the whole "we're here to get better at debating" theme you have going. I completely get that people run out of time, or don't think they're going to win, but still.
If I liken it to my volleyball team, it'd be the height of rudeness to leave the court if we were trailing by 15 points. You (wo)man up, take the loss and learn from it.
Could there be some sort of feature that discourages this practise? Maybe you already have something and I haven't seen it yet, you're pretty onto it admin.
I'm not sure if I trust anyone who doesn't have their face as their profile.

If he did something to stop it noobs would never have the guts in the first place.

Some people have a legit reason for forfeiting. Just saying.
Please excuse me as I'm not super creative when it comes to forum signatures.
Pinkie:
Which is why I said "on a continual basis" and discourages the PRACTISE, which means reptition. If we invite someone over for dinner and something comes up after I've cooked all day, all good, no harm done. If it happens 90% of the time, I call arrogance.
Even having a system that you can't take on any more debates if you forfeit 3 in a row, at the very LEAST it would make people think twice before starting half a dozen debates. Which other people have complained about.

That totally makes sense. Sorry for the misunderstanding!

Blackflag:
Maybe. Also maybe those who actually take their debates seriously (and I'm not pointing at myself here) won't bother taking on debates when they're pretty much certain thEircom opposition won't follow through.

The stats section has been removed when you switched around the front page, Lars, that would be cool if you brought it back. I loved that.

Pinkie:
All good! Just don't do it 5 times in a row, or else.
Kidding.

With spelling like that, if you were admin, I wouldn't be here for you to ban me.
